It is the story of Davidson, a sensitive, sharp-witted black boy from a tribe in Africa, and his encounter with a progressive, tormented teacher - a borderline alter ego figure of Pasolini himself - who tries to give his boys a modern, anti-colonialist education. This suspenseful work narrates above all the conflict between the teacher and Davidson. A hybrid script that mixes different codes and languages and precisely in the absence of its realisation offers great expressive potential. Concept and dramaturgy by Maurizio Camilli; choreography by Michela Lucenti; with Maurizio Camilli and Confident Frank.
